A bit about us...

As Eritreans that had grown up abroad, we had a real desire to help support development in the country. We searched, but struggled to find information on projects we could get involved in.

This sparked an idea to build an organisation, which could provide opportunities for volunteering and support development in Eritrea. We travelled across the country for over a year to better understand the culture, landscape and organisational needs. With this knowledge, we started building out projects across different industries to help develop the country, and Sdra was born!

Sdra (ስድራ) in the local Tigrinya language means family. We hope that you will join the Sdra family and support our goal of assisting in the development of Eritrea – we are all in this together!
