Accessibility Training (Deaf)
Come and run workshops, upskilling those that are hearing impaired.
Project Description
As per the President's speech on Independence Day, one of the country's development tasks is to build a strong workforce. In order to help support that, we are looking to up-skill as many men and woman as possible. Part of that up-skilling piece will be targeted at people with impairments or social immobility.
The Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare are the ministry that house all the social immobility agencies. Through the introduction of technologies, workshops, training sessions we aim to create a sustainable program which transitions people with impairments back into the workplace.
Role Description
The ideal candidate would be someone that has worked on Accessibility initiatives or someone with an impairment that can bring their experiences of what technologies have worked and can help support transitioning our people into a skilled and able workforce. The task would be to then bring those technologies in and run workshops in order to up-skill the workforce.
